John Otto and Magnus Bush

By 1907 John, age 20, immigrated to the United States on the ship Cedric, arriving in New York City 14 May 1907. His final destination was the home of his uncle Muns Munson in Portland, Oregon. His uncle paid for his passage to America. After arriving in Portland he worked as a janitor at the Hill Military Academy and later became a carpenter.

Magnus "Frank" immigrated to America from Liverpool, England on the ship Megantic and then crossed through Saint Alban's Canadian Border Port from Quebec, Canada to Detroit, Michigan 18 June 1910, aboard the C.P. Railroad. His ship manifest said, "His brother paid for his passage and he arrived with $25.00. He was 5'7-1/2" and had fair hair and blue eyes. He could read and write, and was a sawyer. He left behind his mother, Ingeborg Busk of Vemdalen, Sweden and was going to join his brother, Otto Busk c/o Muns Munson (Uncle) in Portland, Oregon."

Magnus never married. He worked as a logger and a construction laborer and died 15 Oct 1945 in Oregon City. Magnus "Frank" was buried 26 October 1945 in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Portland.
